Sunset Cliffs Engagement Session

About a year ago, I did a Valentine’s Day photo shoot for Lauren Conrad titled “A Romantic, Valentine's Day Dinner for Two."  I needed a couple for the photo shoot and most of my girls were pretty single at the time.  So I decided to ask my new boyfriend, Marek, if he was willing to take one for the team ;)  Surprisingly, he was more than willing.  Quite the ham actually.  We went from party printables to re-creating the Lady and the Tramp scene like a couple of professionals!

During the photo shoot, I knew he was the one already.  To be honest, I’m pretty sure he did too :D  In fact, most people thought they were our engagement photos.  Fast forward to a year later and we really are engaged and living in beautiful San Diego, CA.  I thought it would be only fitting to shoot our realengagement session as a part 2 to the original, but expressing who we are now, in our new life together.

So without further ado . . . I give you, "A Romantic, Valentine’s Day Dinner for Two (Part 2)."  The shoot takes place on the beach just below Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, CA . . . where we will be married in July!

Colors

The color scheme is simply back to basics.  White with red accent pieces.

The Setting

The table setting consists of vintage crystal and silver pieces passed down from my Paternal Grandmother.  She and my Grandfather had a beautiful marriage filled with love, respect, compassion, and loyalty . . . something I aspire to in my own marriage.
