Have you ever bought a smoothie and left it in the refrigerator? I know I have . . . And I think it's totally gross unless I drink it right after I buy it :(. The interesting thing is, when I do that with these breakfast shakes, I think they taste just fine after being in the fridge, even the next day! I do this all the time, especially when my fiancé is out of town. I'll make the shake for two as I always do and then I snack on it later - let's say, after yoga or before I take Max for a long walk. WHAT YOU NEED:
BLENDER
INGREDIENTS
Almond milk
Coconut water
Almond butter
Frozen raspberries or mixed berries
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Vanilla
Ice
Opt: plant-based protein powder
Opt: spirulina

Raspberry Almond Breakfast Shake
BLEND
Almond Milk, Coconut Water, Almond Butter, Raspberries, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Vanilla

total Time: 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS

2 cups almond milk

1 cup coconut water
-
2 heaping Tablespoons almond butter
-
1 -2 cups frozen raspberries (I used a mix of blueberries, raspberries & blackberries)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
-
1 teaspoon vanilla
-
1 cup ice
-
Optional:
-
2 scoops plant-based protein powder
-
1 teaspoon spirulina

INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
